We are thankful for your prayers...
- 4 January 2012- Had a great time with my parents in Malawi. They traveled safely back to Riverside as well.
- January 2012- We have 12 more days of the Christmas holiday. Lots of work to do in that time. We'd appreciate prayer for a healthy list of things we need to do in order to get ready for the semester: planning for school, Bright Vision planning, blogging, ministry update.
- 4 January 2012- Please pray for renewed passion and focus on what we're doing here in Malawi. It was a tiring August-December. I'm exalting God's faithfulness in sustaining us, and also confident that He will refresh us with renewed zeal for Him and His kingdom work.
About Us
- Kellen and Rebecca Hiroto
- Thanks for visiting our blog. We are missionaries serving with African Bible College in Lilongwe, Malawi, a small country in Southeast Africa. We teach at ABC Christian Academy, an International Christian school that serves the missionary, ex-pat and Malawian community. Becca teaches third grade and has a growing ballet class. Kellen teaches in the high school, does admin stuff for grades 7-12, and coaches the college soccer team. We both enjoy spending time with youth, intentionally modeling what it looks like to follow Christ. We are extremely grateful to be serving God and serving His people in Malawi.

Hello Kellen & Rebecca!
Writing you is an excited, scared, and emotional college student from San Francisco, California. I just got an email from Project Take Love, & will be taking a short term mission trip this Summer to ABC in Malawi. I was just hoping to gain some insight as to what I can expect when I come out there. I went to Zambia this past summer, & it was incredible, but I also when with a group of about 10 people I knew very well, & I'm about to embark on a journey with 29 people I've never met, to a country I've never been to, with an organization I found on google. So this is a huge step, & a really giant adventure.
Any thoughts you have for me, would be so appreciated. :-)
